Since Nigerian independence in the year 1960, another history of a new revolution is about to be made which has the potential of launching Nigeria to its promise land and be a better place for both inside and external citizens.
It's no news for many of us that there have been an going protest regarding #Endsars in Nigeria which took effect on the 3rd of October 2020. As it stands so far, no youth in Nigeria is smiling at the moment because the government had failed to man up to their responsibility and plights of the citizens regarding insecurities, corruption in public offices and other situations of the country.
The Special Anti-Robbery Squad known as SARS was founded in late 1992 by former police commissioner Simeon Danladi Midenda. The major reason SARS was formed was when Col. Rindam of the Nigerian Army was killed by police officers at a checkpoint in Lagos in September 1992, later leading to the arrest of three officers.
Ever since the emergence of SARS, security of lives and properties have been totally compromised as this Squad misused the power given them to humiliate and rip the masses of their hard earned money instead of saving lives and properties. If you're caught having a cryptowallet on your phone, you're in for an arrest by these operatives, fos Many innocent citizens life were cut short by these set of squads who has done more than enough to destroy the architecture of security, hence the ban was placed to dissolve these set of insecurity enforcement.

As we all know, there is no other sure way out of crisis in a given country except through protest, and that the youths of Nigeria have taken the meed to embark on a massive protest to stop this recklessness going on in the country and also used the medium to further tender other key requirements that must be met to end the protest.
Below, is the list of what Nigerian youths wants the federal government to do before they can call off their protest and i think it's for the growth and benefit of the citizens. I will briefly state the main point for more clearer understanding for the sake of those that ain't well informed of happenings so far.
To End SARS
To Sack and replace Security Chiefs which include the chief of Army staff, Naval, Airforce and other enforcement agencies.
Improve Security
Fully deregulate oil and gas sector to give access to more investment and job creation.
Immediately pass Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) to law.
To fully deregulate power sector to boost investment and capital flow to generate, transmit and distribute more lower and create jobs for the masses.
To hands off petroleum pricing to enable free market determination of pricing.
To close northern borders to stop free entry of Fulani herdsmen and bandits who have been responsible for the death of many.
To create an inclusive government for all tribes and regions of Nigeria with 50% youths in charge of governance.
To allocate more funds to the education sector to provide better teaching tools and to pay better salaries to end the Strike of the Academic Union of University (ASUU).
To change the Academic curriculum to reflect modern day realities.
To place all politicians on minimum wage to attract genuine public servants.
To migrate to 100% electoral reforms with electronic voting tied to the citizen's Ban Verification Number (BVN) and GSM.
To return Nigeria to regional governance structure, or restructure the country and embrace true federalism. State Autonomy must be paramount.
To disband the Bi-camera Legislature and adopt uni-cameral
To immediately reform Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and let every state or regions creat its own Police Service.
No more budget for running private affairs of elected and appointed public servants.
To Enthrone University Education as minimum requirement for public office holders to all levels of government from Presidency to Local Government and Ward chair persons.
To strip Ex-Governors and all elected and appointed Public Servants of all benefits after service in office.
To increase salaries of the Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Police, Military Officers and Civil Servants.
Government should hands off ownership and management of businesses at all levels.
Names and Shame looters and make criminal offenders and lootters face trial in their home states and villages to shame them and their families.
To stop foreign medical trips for public servants and rather get them treated in Nigeria.
I pray and hope the government meet up with the demands of the youths in order to avoid unwanted conflicts and fostal the grosth of our nation. I pray Nigeria will be a better place soon.
