A popular Nigerian singer made a hit that I love so much SINNER by ADEKUNLE GOLD. Which was about a lady named SHEBA.
Signify if you know the song or not and if you do how do u feel about the song?
Anyways when I heard the song I was so sure that the name was familiar and from a Bible story I heard as a child but I really couldn't remember the details. for so long I have been meaning to go and do my research and check about the name Sheba but thanks to so many distractions I never did.
Yesterday on my drive home, I was listening to the radio and the song was on repeat like the OAP was trying to remind me of what I said I would do.
well, mission accomplished.
I Finally read about the Queen of Sheba yesterday and I had so many thought and lightbulb moments reading about her the way I did.

I will most definitely share but first let me give you the gist about the queen of Sheba In the cutest way possible for those who have no idea who she is.
So the Queen of Sheba was in her palace one day and started hearing these rumors about one king like that called Solomon, everyone had only good and great things to say about him.
She must have thought how can a man have so many wives and concubines all to himself and Does no one see no wrong in that?
(eyes rolled of course)
Everyone was rather excited about how awesome he was, how wealthy and peaceful that even the most hated rulers and the people loved him.
She must have always heard people saying that if they truly want the answer to any problem or issue Solomon was the man for the job.
That must be so annoying for a queen.
(Imagine the queen giving another eye-rolling again!!)
That's why she decided to go on a long trip to go and see this man and try to prove everybody wrong for once. It wasn't getting funny at all. So she had to ride on an animal for a long time it could have been months or even year's just to go and prove people wrong and get answers from the main source
Such determination.
She traveled prepared because she met up with other great men to brainstorm on questions and riddles that would be hard for Solomon to answer. when she arrived she was stunned because everything was more amazing than the people described even Solomon himself answered all questions with detailed explanations for his answers.
She even has to put her guard down and ask personal questions, she got so many answers and wisdom from Solomon that she knew she wasn't going to be the same person she was when she returns.
He truly had too much wisdom. I could imagine her blushing so hard, if it was in the present time I am sure she wouldn't have stopped tweeting and taking pictures for snap chat and her Facebook page.
But the fact remains that she left her comfort zone to ask questions and seek wisdom. she chooses not to rely on hearsay statements or base everything on assumptions.
Why assume about people, their life, or anything at all when we could simply ask and get a genuine answer. What is the least that can happen when you ask?
The queen of Sheba reminds me of my friend I know she would be shocked seeing this but if there is something she doesn't know or you ask her and she has no answer but knows the main source that can get you answers to your questions, she can go a great length to that source to get answers on that particular issue. Even if it means her talking to strangers or spending her resources to get genuine answers rather than assume or give answers she isn't sure of.

But for Me, I grew up full of questions with no one to give answers to them so I became too good at assuming answers in my head and letting them go. but if the queen of Sheba has taught me anything learning about her it's the fact that I should never be scared to ask questions anymore no matter how small it may seem.
I am ready to leave my comfort zone and get wisdom by Asking. so don't be surprised if you see me pop up to you on discord or in your comment sessions with questions and if you have any questions for me I am very much available and ready to give answers too.
