Hello Hivers,
I feel so delighted to finally be on board on hive.blog and actually I have butterflies in my stomach, do you know why? Because I've actually been wanting to sign up to this platform for over a year now but never got the opportunity to. I was previously blogging on uptrennd.com for a year that's during the lock down to mid last year, needed another platform to express my thoughts but I couldn't go ahead as i had so many limitations.
My schedule as a medical student is so tight and I can barely breath, so now that school is on a little break I decided to take this huge step. All thanks to 
Guess you're damn curious to get to know me already; well I'm Mmesoma Jennifer popularly known as Mimi Jay. I'm From Eastern Nigeria, so yeah I'm an Igbo girl. I'm a Student of University of Nigeria Enugu Campus, studying Medical Laboratory Science and currently in my penultimate year.
I'm a young lady driven by strong enthusiasm to put my thoughts in writing, I write as the spirit leads me to and it's a huge means for me to express myself anytime anyday. Not just in writing I love reading as well, aside educational books I love to read novels, inspirational and motivational booklets in order to learn new ideas that would add value to my life. I joined hive as it's the best platform I could think of that would expose me to meet new people from different spheres of life, get to interact with them daily and as well share my daily experiences in writing. And the good thing is that I do all of these and as well earn, such amazing opportunity.
Aside being a student and a blogger I do a few things to make ends meet and sustain myself while in school. I'm a makeup artist and my passion for it drives me to upgrade daily to become better and yeah I'm getting there as the day goes by. With time I'll be taking you on step by step detailed tutorials on how to go about getting flawless makeup. I as well make braids and weaves of different kinds, fixing of nails and lashes, wig making and bridal hair styling.
I love blogging, making new friends, I'm as well a good singer and dancer, music is one of the keys to my heart and I enjoy keeping healthy relationships.
It feels good to finally be here and I hope to dish out the full potential in me towards making this platform a bigger and better place. And ofcourse I'll need your supports to make this little dream of mine come through, so let's enjoy the ride together!
