Doxologies

Hi friends.

I would like to end this year on a beautiful note. When we ventured into this year, it was like a few moments ago. How time flies. Who would have thought that the year 2022 would be ending so soon? To many people, 2022 is one year that never existed and after its end would never come to exist again. For some, it is a super test that will stick to memory for a long time. However, for me, it has been a great year of learning and unlearning.

One of my best times this year is when I discovered Amazon.com. Having heard so much about the site, it became so difficult to go around it. My hardwood instinct refused to let go. I searched and did not stop searching until I was able to publish about five books and three journals there. What an amazing year it has been. That, however, did not stop my being active in the Hive blockchain.

Just like when I discovered Hive, I did not go to sleep without searching out one thing about this great place, especially during the covid-19 lockdown period. Hive has been a honeycomb for me and that I cannot deny.
Let me take some time out to pour out my heart to every individual and community that has made the year a wholesome one for me. To say the least, Hive has made me active on the web more than any social. the media platform has. It took my time-wasting adventure on other social media platforms to interact, write and at the same time, earn. What a place to be.

Several individuals made this year a great one for me. Of such persons, permit me to first mention Hive account@dreemsteem. It can only take a great mind to start such a huge project as the #deemport. I must say that I envy your strength and mindset of a goal better. I do not have the right words to qualify her personality but amazingly, she has been an epitome of beauty, wisdom, love, and humility while affecting line positively here in the hive. Hive account@kenechukwu97 is one great guy this post will have no reason to miss out on mentioning. I have not met him in person even though we live in the same country but this brother is trustworthy. He is ever ready to assist in any way possible. His lectures or rather tutorials made me remain here to date. Thanks, man, for all you do. To my friend, Hive account@cool08, I know how much you have sacrificed for me and I am very glad and appreciate all those efforts.
Have you met this one great guy that never discriminates? Hive account@penderis! Thank you so very much. You have a large heart and those few times I came to your dm, I had no regret coming forward to ask for a favour from you.
All my friends who usually engage on Hive account@sam.hangout, you guys made all the weekends of this year a great one. When those topical issues are posted, your concrete and funny discussions have influenced my thoughts a great deal. Hive account@nkemakonam89, Hive account@qudus1, Hive account@samostically (the originator), Hive account@starstrings01, Hive account@aliento, Hive account@ksam Hive account@leogrowth (all sponsors of that initiative). How can I forget the constructive discussions with Hive account@hopestylist, Hive account@deera, Hive account@vickynoly, and a host of other great guys whose names may not be mentioned here?

During one of the times that I needed to sort out help at #blurt, Hive account@olawalium became so selfless and instrumental in how I started navigating that platform. Thanks, bro for all your sincere effort. And I would like to wish you a great year ahead in your new abode. May lines fall for you in pleasant places.

My journey on Hive in 2022 was made great through the curation trail of Hive account@ocd, Hive account@appreciator, Hive account@curie, and Hive account@ecency. These guys did a great job voting my works, thereby encouraging me never to stop writing. For these gestures, I am deeply thankful.

When I discovered the weekly prompt ideas of Hive account@theinkwell, it gave me a model for which I can write imaginative stories. That community no doubt is for me one of the best on the Hive blockchain. There was hardly a week during the year that I do not have one story or two to post via #theinkwell. I had the privilege to bring on board some great writers too, among whom is Hive account@tozil. Currently, she is on social media because she is preparing to write an exam. All the best in your forthcoming exams.

Have you heard of #Weekendexperience? It is a community managed by @Galenkp where you get to share your weekend things, like events and whatnot. Every weekend, the moderator would post a series of topics and subscribers would have to pick one and write about it. I tell you, the fun and exposure you get there are second to none. Seriously, in the coming year, I planned to be up and doing in that community. I hope you guys will give it a try too.

One of my lowest times this year is sometime in September when Hive account@hivewatchers blacklisted my account. Jeez!! All hell was let loose on me. I had to go through a very demeaning time on the blockchain. I got a lot of downvotes. You know, it was discouraging but I wanted to be here and I am ready to pay what it costs to be here. A few days ago, my account was removed from the blacklist. I would like to use this opportunity to tell you guys to always follow the rudiments here. Ensure to source whatever is not your own original work if you must post them on Hive. Anyways, lessons learned.

My Poetry

I love to write poems. Dark poems if you like to call it so. Gracefully, I came in contact with #blockchainpoets. That's a community that is majorly for poets. It was a great time I had here. Some great poets who have literally influenced poetry in that community are too numerous to mention now. I tell you, it is great to have discovered #bcp. Hive account@trucklife-family, Hive account@raj808 , Hive account@mell79, Hive account@olawalium, Hive account@amiegeoffrey, Hive account@chiddoken, Hive account@teknon you all are doing a great job and I am glad that I met you all in 2022.

How can I forget all my Nigerian folks in the #Hivenaija community? You guys are the real essence of hope. If anyone is depressed, meeting a Nigerian is certainly one antidote that can pull you out of such emotional trauma. The coming year is a determinant in our national life. Let's go all out and exercise our civic obligation of voting. Please, do not sell your vote oooo. And don't disenfranchise yourself in the name of I don't care. Nigeria is our home. There is no other place like home. Remember, Agharacha must come back. Home is home.
