Para esta semana quiero compartirles del nuestro ritmos tradicionales un aguinaldo, que no es muy popular puesto que es una composición regional, esta pieza la conocí hace mas de 18 años y creo que solo la cante un par de veces mientras pertenecí al primer coro de la iglesia donde me inicié, en la fe y en la música, nunca mas lo llegue a cantar pero siempre recordaba parte de su melodía.
For this week I want to share with you from our traditional rhythms an aguinaldo, which is not very popular since it is a regional composition, I knew this piece more than 18 years ago and I think I only sang it a couple of times while I belonged to the first choir of the church where I started in faith and music, I never sang it again but I always remembered part of its melody.
Hace menos de 6 meses la que en ese entonces era la coordinadora del coro donde me inicié que llevo por nombre Cristo Resucitado ingreso como coralista al coro que actualmente dirijo, IXTUS; y hace unas semanas le comenté de este tema y es donde me entero que el tema fue compuesto por ellos para un festival en 1998 - 1999 y ya tenía una más de una década que no se cantaba, así que me di a la tarea de trabajarlo con los coralistas y ya firma parte de nuestro repertorio, espero les guste. Less than 6 months ago, the one who at that time was the coordinator of the choir where I started, named Cristo Resucitado, joined the choir I currently direct, IXTUS, as a chorister; and a few weeks ago I told her about this song and that is where I found out that the song was composed by them for a festival in 1998 - 1999 and it had not been sung for more than a decade, so I decided to work on it with the choir members and it is now part of our repertoire, I hope you like it. A mi en lo particular me gusta mucho porque es una forma de ofrendar nuestra vida al ser que pronto ha de nacer en cada uno de nuesy corazones, además, este tema hace que sea es muy grato que lo que en mi niñez aprendí hoy pueda retomarlo y llevarlo a otro nivel interpretativo, desde Cumaná, Sucre - Venezuela, les deseamos una temporada de unidad y buena Música.
