Hello, dear friends of Hive Open Mic, my dear international community. I want to dedicate my participation this week to
Physical death is a step that makes us begin life itself, which is life that is no longer interrupted by plane changes. It is leaving that physical envelope that was limiting to meet the Infinite. Greetings to all their relatives, the Linares family, and the wish that they be strengthened in faith and hope to be able to cope with the pain caused by this separation, remembering that it is only temporary.
This week's theme is "Starlight", selected by little and I bring you the song "Como Llora Una Estrella" (So Cries A Star). It was composed by Antonio Carrillo in 1915, that is, its antiquity dates from 108 years ago. It was composed in Barquisimeto, Lara state, Venezuela. Days later, Antonio Carrillo played the melody on his mandolin so that Father Carlos Borges, priest of the Immaculate Conception Church, could hear it. The father asked him what that beautiful melody was called and Antonio replied that he did not have a name yet, that he should give it to him. The father put "So cries a star". After that moment, various versions have been made of this same melody in terms of lyrics, all derived from its name. I sang one of the best known.
It is a pleasure for me to share the version sung by Jesús Sevillano, an excellent singer who, as a curious note, is the father of the well-known astrologer Adriana Azzi. You may notice that it is the same melody, however he sings a different lyric than the one I sing. As I explained to you before, there are different lyricss for that same melody.
