Last week, I visited a crystal skull, and the experience inspired the song I'm sharing here. Ever since that mystical meeting, I feel especially joyful and lighthearted. I find myself laughing a lot with the kids, bringing out my sense of humor, and appreciating theirs. I think I always hold a satisfied feeling down deep, loving my life, and now I'm allowing that satisfaction to rise to the surface, and smile. This is a noticeable shift for me.
Have you ever heard of a crystal skull? I think the Indiana Jones movies are part of the reason why they are so widely known. Specifically, I visited the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull, which is named after the little girl who first discovered the skull in 1924, inside an ancient Mayan Temple. Her dad was a British intelligence officer, commissioned to study the temple. Apparently, he had good relations with the local indigenous cultures who helped him with his mission.
This crystal skull has all kinds of stories associated with it, making it a world famous artifact. It is likely 200,000 years old. It was once believed to be a cursed artifact, with myths about doom and death, possibly designed in order to protect it from thievery. It is now called the "Skull of Love," because its caretaker intends for it to be a vessel of healing. I heard these stories directly from the skull's caretaker, who received it directly from Mitchell-Hedges.
In the few hours when I was with the skull, I noticed the details of this crystal skull were artistically superior to any other artwork in my awareness. I've visited the Louvre, for example, and there was nothing comparable. This is a pure glass-like object, holding sunlight and reflections like clear water. It holds the shape of a dolphin in each of its cheekbones, and it appears to hold a precise map of the human brain—when viewed from behind. It is as if this is the immaculate human form in its divine design.
Being in the presence of the crystal skull, a woman beautified the space by speaking a "light language" that resonated with me. There's a noticeable lightness in the energy for sure. I also witnessed a woman pass out while standing, and I helped carry her outside to lay on the grass, for grounding. There is so much more to say about my experiences and perceptions, and I'll leave that for your imagination as you listen to the song I'm sharing here.
