Esta canci贸n titulada "Historia de un Amor" recuerdo haberla escuchado en la voz de innumerables artistas y m煤ltiples versiones, pero me sigo aferrando a los boleros. 馃槅
Este tema fue escrito en 1955 por el autor paname帽o Carlos Eleta Almar谩n para su hermano Fernando a ra铆z de la muerte de su cu帽ada Mercedes. Alcanz贸 un r谩pido 茅xito ya que form贸 parte de la banda sonora de una pel铆cula mexicana del mismo nombre rodada en 1956, protagonizada por Libertad Lamarque y Emilio Tuero.
Se la considera la canci贸n de origen paname帽o m谩s grabada e interpretada internacionalmente.
Creo que narra la p茅rdida de una manera tan real y profunda que resuena con cualquiera que haya experimentado un amor significativo y su ausencia. No solo habla del dolor, sino tambi茅n de la transformaci贸n que esa persona dej贸 en la vida del que se queda, para bien y para mal. No es solo tristeza; es la memoria de lo que fue, la incredulidad ante la ausencia y la sensaci贸n de que una parte de uno mismo se fue con el ser amado.

This song was written in 1955 by Panamanian author Carlos Eleta Almar谩n for his brother Fernando following the death of his sister-in-law Mercedes. It quickly became a hit as it was featured on the soundtrack of a Mexican film of the same name, shot in 1956, starring Libertad Lamarque and Emilio Tuero.
It is considered the most recorded and performed song of Panamanian origin internationally.
