Hello Hiveans and all of musician on Hive!! _
Nice to see you again, how's life ??
It's nice to be back in the open mic contest again.
How interesting the theme of the week, Storyteller.
I know there's so many good songs that fit the theme, but this time I want to sing a song that means a lot to me.
This is an old song by the way, and has been popular 16 years ago sung by a local band from Aceh, "Saleum Group".
This song tells about the enormity of the Tsunami disaster on 26 December, 2004 that hit the mainland of Aceh (my hometown) with hundreds of thousands of casualties, one of the greatest disasters in world history. 😔
But specifically, this song raises the story of a child and a mother who have become victims of the tsunami, so they have to be separated and even the child's life must be lost as a result of the incident.
This is really a very sad and heart-wrenching song, I want you to hear it and take lessons from the story.
"Saweub Ie Beuna"
by Saleum Group
Sad, sad, this is a sad story
There is a child separated from his mom
He is still small sleeping in the cradle
Being pampered loved by his mother
Now no more mother's baby
Lost with the tsunami
Tears flow always imagine
Anak tercinta menghilang dari pandangan
Once upon a time, at the morning
The child at home, sleeping
But what happened was so unexpected
will never see anymore
Unexpected by anyone
After the earthquake shooked the world
Then came a very powerful Tsunami
the child was dragged away, somewhere
Like coming in a dream, the child returns home
Then he told his mother
Don't be sad for this disaster, Just pray to God, I'm in the heaven
All of it is by the will of God
We are being tested, so that we can be patient
I'll waiting for you mom in heaven
Together with the prophet, waiting there.
