Hive Open Mic. Week 63. College story. Original song.
Arriving a little later than usual, to participate in the 63rd week of Hive Open Mic.
But I must explain that it is all because I chose a very complicated musical form, called rondeau.
The rondeau consists of a chorus and 3 stanzas of different melodies, hence the difficulty both to compose it, to sing it, and even to play it.
In fact, I only know one rondeau song whose name is "The girl paints a house."
For many years I wanted to compose a rondeau, but in truth "I died" trying, and this was the opportunity provided for this week 63, and I thank God for this happiness.
I confess that this has been the song that has caused me the most work and recording attempts, no less than 15 times.
Regarding the proposed theme, the song is inspired by a girl from Achaguas -Apure state town- who came to San Juan de los Morros to study at the Rómulo Gallegos National Experimental University, and is "stranded" in her town, due to to the pandemic.
For this song I have worked the "dance", another of the rhythms of Venezuelan music and that differs from the "gaita" in that it is a bit softer strumming.

and the pandemic in its action
has prevented her from returning.

Llegando un poco más tarde que de costumbre, a participar en la semana número 63 de Hive Open Mic.
Pero debo explicar que todo se debe a que escogí una forma musical muy complicada, llamada rondeau, (rondó, en español).
El rondeau consta de un coro y 3 estrofas de diferentes melodías, y de allí la dificultad tanto para componerlo, como para cantarlo, y hasta para tocarlo.
De hecho, solo conozco una canción rondeau cuyo nombre es "La niña pinta una casa".
Hacía muchos años deseaba componer un rondeau, pero en verdad que "yo moría" en el intento, y esta fue la oportunidad brindada para esta semana 63, y agradezco a Dios esta dicha.
Les confieso que esta ha sido la canción que me ha ocasionado más trabajo e intentos de grabación, no menos de 15 veces.
En cuanto al tema propuesto, la canción está inspirada en una muchacha de Achaguas -pueblo del estado Apure- que se vino a San Juan de los Morros a estudiar en la Universidad Nacional Experimental Rómulo Gallegos, y está "varada" en su pueblo, debido a la pandemia.

que tiene veinte de edad,
y por ser tan estudiosa
se vino a nuestra cudad.
A sus estudios dio inicio
en nuestra universidad
con base en el sacrificio,
el esfuerzo y la lealtad.
Se marchó de vacación
para a su gente mirar,
y la pandemia en su acción
le ha impedido regresar.
Que para el tiempo esperado
quiera Dios con su bondad
que la historia que he contado
pase a mejor realidad.
Para esta canción he trabajado la "danza", otro de los ritmos de la música venezolana y que difiere de la "gaita" en que es de rasgueo un poco más suave.
