¡Hello! what a pleasure to participate again in this great community of Hive open mic, for week 103 the selected topic is Survival. A word that really has many meanings but I dared to investigate and share with you the one that caught my attention: it is the action and effect of surviving. This term, in turn, refers to living after a certain event, living after the death of another person or living in adverse conditions and without means.
With the definition I mentioned above I was able to sit down and reflect, asking myself what song does that represent for me? Believe me it was very easy, I did not hesitate. It's called Rimas pa'seducir (Rhymes to seduce) by the Puerto Rican group Cultura Profética. This song belongs to the album La Dulzura, released in 2010 under the band's independent record label.
The choice of this song is due to the love I have for my family, my parents, son and wife. In fact I confess that I used to put my son to sleep with this song (he learned it). In difficult moments I sing it at the top of my lungs and I know that everything will pass. When I arrived in Colombia my life took a turn that changed everything in my present, but without fear I faced what was coming and only the love of those who are by my side today allowed me to be a survivor.

¡Hola! que gusto volver a participar en esta gran comunidad de Hive open mic, para la semana 103 el tema seleccionado es Supervivencia. Una palabra que realmente tiene muchos significados pero me atreví a investigar y comparto con ustedes el que me llamó más la atención: es la acción y efecto de sobrevivir. Este término, por su parte, hace referencia a vivir después de un determinado suceso, vivir tras la muerte de otra persona o vivir en condiciones adversas y sin medios.
Con la definición que mencioné anteriormente pude sentarme y reflexionar, preguntándome ¿qué canción representa eso para mí? Creanme fue muy fácil, no lo dude. Se llama Rimas pa´seducir del grupo boricua Cultura Profética. Está canción pertenece al álbum La Dulzura, fue lanzado en el año 2010 bajo el sello discográfico independiente de la banda.
La elección de este tema se debe al amor que tengo a mi familia, mis padres, hijo y esposa. De hecho les confieso que con esa canción dormía a mi hijo (él se la aprendió). En momentos difíciles la canto a todo pulmón y sé que todo pasará. Cuando llegué a Colombia mi vida dió un giro que cambió todo en mi presente, pero sin miedo afronte lo que venía y solo el amor de los que hoy están a mi lado me permitió ser un superviviente.
