"Just Once" cover by @rendhel1234

Hi folks!

This is my entry to “Hive Open Mic Week #100” by yours truly Rodel aka Hive account@rendhel1234. This is a live band setting so you will notice my blunders. I have not tried singing in a live band and in front of many people. I did a cover of this song long ago in a karaoke bar so even if I didn't memorize the lyrics I can still sing it because the karaoke machine will automatically give it to you. The first song I chose was not familiar to the band that is why Just Once was chosen because they can play it. In the second verse after the first chorus the Ipad was running out of battery that is why I wasn't able to follow the lyrics. As you can see, one of the band vocalists assisted me navigating the right lyrics. LOLS!

When a friend invited you over to a bar like this, it can't be helped that someone will push you to sing a song even if you are not a singer. Of course, for the sake of friendship and to enjoy the night together, I obliged. I am too shy to be on stage because of my physical appearance and my singing voice. I have seen the video and my tummy is so big and embarrassing. I guess I need to make a complete makeover and go to the gym to loose some fats. LOLS!

Lastly, I would like to thank the #hiveopenmic family, the creator, curator of this community and all people who have helped in bringing success and progress to Hive. I would also like to thank @OCD for allowing me to develop my skills not just in singing but in writing as well. Most of all, I am grateful to Hive account@nikkabomb for introducing Hive to me and guiding me to be comfortable with this kind of platform.
