It’s a pleasure to greet you, dear Hive Open Mic community! We are already in 2025 and I wish you all a very prosperous year, full of abundant blessings. For week number 248 we find ourselves with the theme Step by Step, a premise that can be very useful for us to better face the convulsed life of which we are a part.
This week I’m going to share with you an original song. As I have mentioned on other occasions, I’m inspired by several themes when composing songs, either in my life as such or in common situations that could happen to anyone. The piece I bring you today is a ballad-pop style song in acoustic version and is focused precisely on the proposed theme, in fact the song has the homonymous name "Step by Step", through which I wanted to express the need to take life calmly, without haste or eagerness but without pause, as I believe that with patience and faith in God and in ourselves we can go far and achieve our goals and dreams.
The composition is in the key of D major with a transition to E major, with a somewhat cheerful melody that tries to convey optimism to the listener. I hope that this presentation will be to the liking of many.
¡Un placer saludarles, querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic! Ya nos encontramos en 2025 y deseo para todos ustedes un año muy prospero, lleno de abundantes bendiciones. Para semana número 248 nos encontramos con la temática Paso a Paso, una premisa que nos puede servir mucho para afrontar mejor la vida convulsionada de la cual hacemos parte.
Esta semana voy a compartir con ustedes una canción original. Como he mencionado en otras ocasiones, me inspiro en diversas temáticas a la hora de componer canciones, ya sea en mi vida como tal o en situaciones comunes que a cualquiera podría sucederle. La pieza que les traigo hoy se trata de una canción de estilo balada-pop en versión acústica y está enfocada precisamente en la temática propuesta, de hecho el tema lleva el nombre homónimo “Paso a Paso”, mediante el cual quise expresar la necesidad de tomar la vida con calma, sin prisa ni afán pero sin pausa, ya que considero que con paciencia y fe en Dios y en nosotros mismos podemos llegar lejos y alcanzar nuestras metas y sueños.
La composición se encuentra en tono de RE Mayor (D) con una transición a MI Mayor (E), con una melodía un tanto alegre que intenta transmitir optimismo a quien la escucha. Espero que esta presentación sea del agrado de muchos.
