Saludos queridos amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes una interpretación. Se trata del corrío “Apure yo soy tu hijo”, una obra del reconocido maestro Francisco Montoya, que tengo el honor de presentar en la semana 293 del Hive Open Mic.

La pieza fue ejecutada en el tono de Re mayor, acompañada por el fondo musical del maestro Hive account@ramónpaéz, quien con su arpa supo darle ese matiz especial que engrandece nuestra música llanera. El sonido del arpa, con su fuerza y dulzura, se convirtió en el soporte perfecto para resaltar la esencia de este corrío, evocando la grandeza del llano y el sentimiento profundo de pertenencia que transmite su letra.

“Apure yo soy tu hijo” es más que una canción es un canto de identidad, un homenaje a la tierra y a las raíces que nos definen. Interpretarlo en este espacio significó para mí un encuentro con la memoria cultural de nuestro país, una manera de recordar que la música llanera sigue viva y que cada presentación es una oportunidad para compartirla con quienes valoran nuestras tradiciones.

Greetings, dear friends of Hive. On this occasion, I would like to share an interpretation with you. It is the corrío “Apure yo soy tu hijo” (Hurry, I am your son), a work by the renowned maestro Francisco Montoya, which I have the honor of presenting in week 293 of Hive Open Mic.

The piece was performed in the key of D major, accompanied by the background music of maestro Hive account@ramónpaéz, who with his harp knew how to give it that special nuance that enhances our llanera music. The sound of the harp, with its strength and sweetness, became the perfect support to highlight the essence of this corrío, evoking the grandeur of the plains and the deep sense of belonging conveyed by its lyrics.

“Apure yo soy tu hijo” is more than a song; it is a song of identity, a tribute to the land and the roots that define us. Performing it in this space meant for me an encounter with the cultural memory of our country, a way of remembering that llanera music is still alive and that each performance is an opportunity to share it with those who value our traditions.

Hive Open Mic has established itself as a stage where musical diversity flourishes and where each week participants contribute their voices and talent to enrich the community.
