Hello everyone and welcome to Tuesday, the second working day of the week and as usual Larry the postman woke up quite early to continue his mail delivery duties. Larry could be seen gracefully dispatching his parcels and I am sure you can get paid for just hunting and finding him in his selected routes. But before we start the Larry hunt, let us take a look at today in #history.
Gentlemen, do you know that on this day in 1943, Nazi forces put an end to the month-long Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, which saw Polish Jews, under the leadership of Mordecai Anielewicz and the Jewish Fighting Organization, fight against being sent to the Treblinka extermination camp.
Do you also know that on this day in 2007, Nicolas Sarkozy took the oath of office as President of France. After losing the 2012 presidential election, he made history by becoming just the second French leader since the establishment of the Fifth Republic in 1958 to lose his attempt for reelection. .
