Hello and happy Monday! Let's welcome the second week of May. 🎉 Time flies but then we all know that already 🤣 I saw this plant as I looked out the window from my work desk. I decided to take a closer photo from another angle. Love the many tiny flowers as they help brighten my day. I hope my other flowering plants will start blossoming as well.
It's pretty hot most days here. Our regular temps are in the 30+Cs. What I dislike about it is the feel of sweaty and sticky altogether. 😝 no fun! Today I decided to switch to a cold meal -- my overnight oats. I think that's pretty practical given that the day is already hot, why would I want a hot dish? 🙃 It's all in the mind I suppose. We've been used to heating our dishes so we think that's the norm. I have learned to adapt to situations as it is necessary. I've been looking into other cold dishes I could enjoy for as long as the weather is hot. 😅

It's such a hot day that it seemed strange that it actually rained hard earlier in the night. By then, we already had the cooling system running as it was too hot. Well, we just let it be. I even enjoyed a bit of a nap 'coz it just felt comfy. I'm sure my plants got happier with the rain. I'll check on them later.
