February is love month, and people everywhere celebrate it with their loved ones, companions, lovers, and, of course, family. Valentine's Day is a holiday for everyone, not only lovers. Flowers, chocolates, balloons, and greeting cards are in high demand because it is the month of love. On this day, many restaurants, hotels, and theme parks are totally booked, as are flower deliveries, with most flower shops working double shifts to meet their clients' expectations.
Don't get me wrong, but girls adore getting flowers and being pampered not just on Valentine's Day, but on any occasion. So allow me to show you some images of flowers I've received during the last almost 3 years.
I recall this day when an unknown admirer, as they say, sent me flowers; it just so happened that I figured it out later and that we work for the same company. lol
I like roses, but this stranger got me a sunflower, so I can't complain. These flowers come with a cute stuffed animal and a chocolate bar.
This flower was given to me by my current boyfriend as a surprise since he wanted to surprise me. He was not yet my boyfriend at the time. I like it since I adore roses, and he did an excellent job of surprising me. I wasn't anticipating a flower delivery; I was expecting a package from Shopee, but instead, I got a call from a flower delivery service.
This is the second bouquet he sends me before Christmas. I originally shared a flower he gave me in the first week of December. It comes with a human size panda bear and I really had a hard time carrying it on my way home. lol
This one I received this one on our first Valentine's Day. Because I was in quarantine, it was delivered to my dorm this time. This time I wasn't feeling good I was really thrilled that even though I wasn't feeling well, he surprised me and made me smile all over again. I also loved the chocolates and the stuffed toy.
Oh, and since it's pandemic, even if I only get a cold or sneeze a lot due to my allergy, I have to quarantine, so this is another quarantine birthday. Even though I can't spend time with friends or party, I have this to cheer me up.
These are some of the other photos of the flowers I received from him, and as you can see, they made me very happy. As a woman, it makes no difference how large or expensive the flower is; even a single stem would make any woman delighted.
So that's it, for now, hivers, and to all flower lovers out there, have a wonderful Valentine's Day.
PS: Some of the photos on this post were used in a previous blog post, but all of them are mine.
