Nerium oleander is commonly known as oleander which is an upright, rounded evergreen sub-tropical to tropical shrub that is truly valued for its abundant, fragrant, summer to fall flowers bloom.
Ranging from purple, pink or white five-petaled funnel-shaped flowers in clusters “terminal cymes”. Narrow, willow-like, linear-lanceolate with glossy dark green leaves & have distinctive midribs accordingly.
Be warned therefore, that all parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested. The plant saps is capable of causing allergic skin reactions in some people & smoke from the burning plant material can also be quite toxic.
