Nigerian users and businesses in the spendHBD project are really growing. So our contest each week provides the motivation for participants to keep on visiting listed shops and making sure they buy from them. This contest starts every Tuesday and ends 7 days later. So while we will announce another contest which starts from today, its time also to announce winners of our last contest which ended today.

I have carefully gone through the participants list and selected the top 3 performers. These 3 were chosen because they visited the listed businesses more often and also claimed the most HBD discounts. So below are the winners for last weeks edition of the contest:
Just as announced in the contest post earlier, prizes have been sent to each of the 3 winners above . For the winner that took 1st position, 2 HBD was sent to her. The 2nd postion winner got 1.5 HBD, while the person in 3rd position got 1 HBD. You can see a screenshot of the transactions below:
Congratulations to the winners and I wish you more wins ahead. To everyone that participated and didnt win, there is another opportunity to try again. Who knows, you might be the next person celebrating a win.
A fresh contest starting today
Its another Tuesday and thus another opportunity to win by spending HBD in any of the whitelisted shops. The more transactions you make, the better. While you enjoy your votes and instant discounts, this contest offers another reward opportunity. A total of 4.5 HBD would be distributed to the eventual winners by this time next week.
To win this contest is jot difficult at all. You just have to do the following:
Walk into any of the whitelisted shops and perform a transaction. Be sure to pay in HBD and claim your instant discounts. The bigger the claims, the better your chances of winning a top prize.
You have to target completing 5 transactions in the next 7 days. That is a minimum to reach to win, although I might at my discretion award prizes to a user that performed less than 5.
You must make a comment on this post. That is the only way to indicate your interest to join.
At the end of 7 days, the participants would be checked and 3 winners will be announced. The local guides in Aba and Lagos are working do hard to see that more businesses are listed quickly. Below is an updated list of all businesses in Nigeria that accept HBD

Get ready for ShoKiN day 7
We are really doing well both in completing individual transactions and our group spending activity. ShoKiN is going to become a movement as more and more people are showing interest to join. As weekend approaches, we are planning another great outing event for our group. Its shoKiN day 7. Once the business to be visited becomes confirmed, we will let you all know.
