Today showed us how strong ShoKiN has become as a movement - sort of lifestyle. Although many people have traveled to their homeland to be with family, 13 members of the ShoKiN team were very much available to support ShoKiN day 10. Of course you know that we went to a brand new eatry that just opened in the neighborhood and the experience was great. At the end of the ShoKiN activity, we spent 41 HBD and happily claimed discounts, beside the beautiful memories captured in our photographs.
Tifany is lived up to the billing
This new businesses Tifany foods have added 1 to the growing number of cool spots to relax and enjoy with friends. They selected a nice location for the restaurant along a major road in the city, making it accessible to the public. I arrived early here, as early as 11am and I had to wait for our members that would come later - a total of 13 persons. While
As I waited for others to arrive, I took time to appreciate the environment. From my seat, I made a video showing a view of inside the restaurant. Take a look below:
After making the video, I had to check on the menu too. They have fried and coconut rice, fresh bread pizza, burger, meat pie, egg roll, salad, and many sorts of assorted drinks. The menu still included chicken, beef, ice cream and popcorn. The pricing is also competitive. A plate of rice is NGN 2000 ( around 1.25 HBD) Then chicken is NGN 4000 (2.5 HBD). Other things in the menu are not expensive at all.
Around 1 hour after I came, others started coming. By noon, we had a full house and everyone started making their orders. Some ate rice and others ordered our local soup and swallow. A few of the friends bought burger, meatpie and other snacks. We all paid in HBD and claimed our discount through distriator app. Of course, we were surprised to note a new update to the app that asked the user to select the listed business before continuing to snap pictures of the goods or items purchased. While it was nice, it also presented a challenge - one has to scroll endlessly before locating the business. Thats tough though.
Once we all paid in HBD, we took our meals to the first floor of the restaurant. Surprisingly, they have mire than enough space up and that is cool for friends to relax and have a personal fun time. We took our seats and enjoyed the meals while talking about a lot of things.
After enjoying the meals, We stayed back as we always do to talk about everything Hive, crypto and in-between. It was also moment to get to know new faces in our midst. Today was my first time of meeting 
The last ShokIN for 2024
Interestingly, many of us in the group didnt realize this would be the last group meetup for us in 2024. The year 2025 certainly promises to be amazing with lots of opportunities. I have plans to take SpemdHBD to other cities and states in Nigeria. I and the ShoKiN team have big plans for onboarding more businesses, more users nad growing the Hive userbase in our city. Lots of marketing will be done.
I have to take out this time to appreciate all the ShoKiN team members. They have been true friends and wonderful people. They have supported all our activities and keep on doing more for the project. I wish all of us a great time out there. We all feel bullish. So lets keep on spending HBD, claiming discounts and spreading the word about this amazing opportunity. Thank you so much everyone!!!!!
