We have kicked of 2025 with happiness. ShokiN is quickly evolving into a proper lifestyle for a group of friends promoting the SpendHBD project. Day 11 took us to Crunchies Fried chicken, a popular restaurant at Aba city center. Everyone that attended was really happy not just for spending HBD and claiming discount, but for the great connections that happen at each gathering. So here is how it went down at Crunchies.
Arriving with 3 other friends
The time for this great meetup was 11AM. As you can see above, these 3 friends 
Some minutes after our arrival, others started coming. It didnt take long before we had a full house. Of course everyone appreciates the quality of service of this eatry. So we had a lot on offer when it comes to food and drinks. Some had to go for local dishes and others went for something else. The staff assigned to handle our orders was incredibly nice and friendly. So it contributed to the enjoyment and fun we had.

Like that, everyone that attended placed order for meals and they all had their orders taken and we all enjoyed our meals in a serene environment.
Almost 60 HBD spent
The mist interesting aspect of ShoKiN day activities is paying with HBD and everyone in the group eagerly awaits it. Its great to note that the distriator app worked smoothly as always and the ISP service at this location is string and fast. It did take long for each person to scan the code generated by the business and make their payment. At the end, we spent nearly 60 hbd at this very location. Some of the friends here bought more than once as you can see in the transaction screenshot below from crunchies wallet.
I was really happy yo see that this business made the highest number of claims on the day with 16 claims from the friends that attended. You can see the stat from distriator below
Everyone claimed their discounts and was happy. We spent quality time talking about Hive and life in general. After that, we took our group pictures to create memories of this very occasion. I will be happy to share some of them with you below:
Branding plans and recruitment for 2025
I will be working more on the branding aspect of this project to give a more unified look and make business image look great. Some of the friends still do not attend the event with branded material and that does not make for great outlook. So I have plans to make sure that everyone attending future events either come in their Tshirts and Face-cap and ShoKiN team ID. People her and elsewhere take you serious if you appear in some fome of branding. With spendhbd branding and gear, we are going to send a better message across.
Besides branding, I and my team are going to make special efforts to onboard more customers across the businesses already listed in my city. The aim here is to have more businesses and customers actively using the spendHBD platform. The more users we could get, the better.
I remain bullish about this spendHBD project. I am eager to see it grow massively in the space. 2025 will be a year of mass adoption and that is what we want to achieve in Aba, Nigeria and the whole world at large.
