Today marked the 5th time we are shopping as a group in this SpendHBD project. Our group shopping activity called ShoKiN allows all pur friends to come together and shop as one. Today we went to Gods Own Super market and it was really a huge blast as many of the friends turned up for this amazing experience. At the end of the day, 87 HBD spent by the 30 users in attendance.
5 newbies were signed up
The day for me started at my office where I welcomed 3 newbies invited by their friends. My job is to educate them about Hive and SpemdHBD which I did very well. Then I made sure they have their Hive accounts created using the SpendHBD sign up method. Its basically easy and took few minutes to complete.
Once they have their accounts, next was making sure they downloaded the Hive keychain wallet and Ecency app. I quickly helped them setup their profiles on Ecency and import their account. Next was to demonstrate how to scan and pay. It was not difficult to master that too. I gave each of the newbies our SpendHBD shopping bag and we got ready to move to the supermarket.

Shopping at Gods Own Supermarket
It was a large crowd of 28 friends at the supermarket. Everyone picked what they want to buy and the shop owner generated receipts for them. It was a seamless experience as we have good network signals at the place always.
This was also a time to meet friends and network. Many were very happy to see each other and the experience was one not to be missed. Lots of happy shoppers paying and collecting discounts fully and instantly provided by SpendHBD. At the end, 87 HBD has been spent.

The next ShoKin activity for us will happen in few days time. That will be this coming Saturday. So I thank my friends that came today and invite them to be ready for next week.
