Each Tuesday is a great opportunity to set shopping goals for the next 1 week. This contest is specifically for the friends from Nigeria. I run it every week to keep us active and engaged with the SpendHBD project. Participants are to shop more frequently, visiting various listed shops. At the end of the week, the top 3 performers share a total prize of 4.5 HBD.
So in this post, I will first of all let you know who among the contestants for last week ended up in top 3 position. Then I will also announce a fresh contest which will start today and end in the next 7 days. Lets go!!!!

There are more than 10 persons that participated in the contest. Out of that number, the top 3 are those that claimed more discounts than others. Of course the contest also expects users to shop at least 5 times within the period. So the winners are:
(1st Position): Total discount claimed - 6.89 HBD, Number of transactions - 6
(2nd Position): Total discount claimed - 6.43 HBD, Number of transactions - 5
(3rd Position): Total discount claimed - 3.44 HBD, Number of transactions - 9
The prizes have have been distributed as follows:
- 1st Position - 2 HBD
- 2nd Position - 1.5 HBD
- 3rd Position - 1 HBD

Contest for the new week
Just as we always do, this is a shopping contest where participants win by paying in HBD. Its a promotional activity for the spendHBD project. With many new users joining us last week, I hope that many are able to join in this contest So its just easy to win if you follow the rules below:
Visit any of the shops that we have listed. Buy stuffs and pay in HBD. Be sure to claim your discounts. The bigger your discounts, the better.
The minimum number of transactions to win is 5 times. Its best to visit several shops or just any shop close to you.

We are growing
The friends in Aba and Lagos Nigeria are rapidly growing in size owing to the efforts of the pioneers. We are still trying to create more awareness about SpendHBD and increase the number of users paying with HBD. We are also preparing to host an end-of-the year gathering of all hive users in the city and environs. It will be sponsored by Spend HBD.
A lot is being put together to ensure that this project makes a strong presence in Nigeria. We therefore call on all our friends to fully participate in all our activities such as ShoKiN, in contests like this and upcoming meetups.
