How my Hive Journey started

So far so good, it's been a wonderful two years experience.

Two ago, i took a bold step. Like the saying goes a journey of a thousand mile begins with a step. In the month of June 2023 i started my journey in this blockchain after so many years it took Hive account@fokusnow to convince me. The first sentence said to me was, it's a platform where you write, post and earn.

Fears i had to conquer

• was scared of social networking business which we lost a lot in.
• couldn't devote my time to writing, believing i wasn't good and can't be original
• what will i focus on if am to join this platform?.

All the above fear held me down for years but the above mentioned didn't give up, he did his best and today here i am celebrating two years of my being here.

After my introduction post, it took me months to write another post because i didn't know what to write and how to go about it. I was encouraged to go threading and not leave my blog for a day without a thread since i can't post, i did that for months and gave up.

I left my blog account for a culinary school something that i have passion for and doing with a smiling face. Little did i know that it was going to favor me in this blockchain. About concluding my class. A piece of information was pasted on our Hive Whatsapp group about a meetup where the will be guiding newbies on Hive on what to do, first of it's kind, i haven't heard about this kind of event since i joined this platform. I was gladly given the opportunity to make what will be made use of for entertainment of which i gladly accepted the offer. The event paved way for me getting to meet the top mentors from Lagos and Akwa Ibom for the first time. That meetup was the only meet for 2023 and 2024. Even after this event i couldn't still make a post but was diligently following them up on the web2 platform to keep the update.

At the ending of the 2024 year a new project came called SHOKiN, this project is meant for one to spend her fiat in listed stores and restaurants making use of the Hive account@distriator application, all thanks to Hive account@spendhbd, this project brought all most all Hiveans in Aba together as it was a medium to exchange ideas, experiences and a lunch date. Was moving until the first blockchain supermarket was launched in Aba. The all the SHOKiN was centered at the supermarket, where we purchase go home and enter our kitchen.

I tried out my only one community for several months only to attend a seminar where i was told i can try two or three communities. Since i love cooking i heard to give the food communities and the drink community a try. Today i say am doing well in the Web3 blockchain. My fears were gradually conquered with the help of attending workshops, seminars and meetups. In the first half of this year two meetup has been held where we had Akwa Ibom and Lagos representatives respectively.

If am asked my regret, my answer of which i have been giving is not joining as soon as i heard about Web3. And not being able to conquer my fears after attending the first meetup.

I have attended many SHOKiN, three Hive meetup, some workshop and seminars and the unveiling of the first blockchain supermarket which is doing absolutely beyond expection.

The more we go the more our eyes and mind are open to more things about Hive.

My anniversary was meant to be a party but unfortunately am not around to celebrate it with the beautiful people of Aba, where my Hive root started. I have gone through many roads trying to grow.

Am open to more changes and ready for more growth in Hive as i have decided to take onboarding new ones just the way i was onboarded.
