Getting to HiveFest10 begins with a transatlantic first step!

Three days ahead of HiveFest, I flew out to meet at London Heathrow (LHR). To best manage our last minute air fares, he & I flew on separate days to Europe from Boston.

Bitter arrived early the night before. He spent over at our fave airport hotel, The Radisson Red-Heathrow. In fact, We’ve hosted not one, but two meetups there! We designers adore the flare and affordability of the “Raddie Reds.”

My own British Airways trip was rushed, landing to the UK capital city. I had only an hour to disembark, check in at the BA counter with my newly renewed US passport, get through security and Find Waldo. 😂
Happily, we connected! We had just enough time to order Bombay Sapphire Gin & Tonics and sip them half-way before boarding was called. Whoo hoo!
Once together, the journey simplified. All we had to do was sit still for 13 hours! 😝 Here’s my Malaysia Digital digital document saved as a backup it my data isn’t attached to my passport data upon arrival.

My travel challenge was met! All 13,000 miles/21,000 km in a day!! 🎉 Accomplished in only 20 hours of flying!
Together with Bitter we made an uneventful arrival to the beautiful city of Kuala Lampur. 🌆

This is our first visit to Malaysia🇲🇾, the home of our Creative Work Hour community member . We’re crazy excited about seeing our travel-weary Hive Friends!
Here’s to a great HiveFest Week!! :champagne_glass:
