I was in the middle of having my coffee when I saw that notification. I almost spilled my coffee 😂and was so overjoyed! You know, I barely won things like this so that was something surprising and worth celebrating for 😆 by having another cup of coffee!

Technically, I already booked the flight almost a month ago and was ready to fly. Malaysia is only an hour away and half from my city. Can you believe that? It’s not that far. So, obviously I didn’t want to miss this huge opportunity.

Being so excited, I couldn’t practically sleep. You know, like that’s my default reaction to some good news. But I know, I have to chill! So, I went for a swim and to think about what to do next. I think I need to ramp up my presentation and check out my packing at the last minute.

Oh! I am definitely packed too as I am packing so light that my inner minimalist is coming out again.

I am so excited to meet everyone and even some of my Malaysian friends whom I will be reconnecting with again after a while. But also, I want to see what other developments are happening out there around the chain. I am sure there are things I am missing out too.

I’ve been bothering my mom a lot asking if I am good enough to talk 😂 and if I have the right pitch. But, Lord’s know, I am going to give it my best.
