Hello HiveFest Buddies...
As I mentioned before, every meeting inevitably leads to a parting. After four days of Hive Fest, the farewell finally came, even though I still hadn't gotten to know all the participants well. I felt like it took me quite a while to network, but ultimately, this farewell also led to a very meaningful experience.
On the last day, my roommate, Wita, and I woke up late because we didn't have any particular destination. Wita wanted to go shopping, and I wanted to go to coffee, and that didn't need to happen so early in the morning, right? So we went to the REXKL area for a coffee date, after which we had lunch of Nasi Kandar and Nan, a typical Indian dish. Afterward, we shopped until dinner.
The dinner was held at the Bijan restaurant near Bukit Bintang. We walked there from Pavilion Mall. We love walking. Luckily, Wita is a skilled Maps Man, so I just followed her. When I arrived at Biijan Bar, I thought we'd be the first to arrive, but in fact, we were the last. Hahaha… I think this was culture shock because all the participants were so punctual. I'm thankful they didn't hold this event in my city; they would have been the ones experiencing culture shock.
This wasn't intentional; we didn't create such a box just because we were Asian. It's just that everyone already had a chat partner, and since I'd just arrived, Yunnie was our chat partner because we needed to talk about our favorite Taiwanese dramas. Hahaha…
The dinner menu this time was Malay food. Actually, there's not much difference between Malay food and Indonesian food. If Malaysia has Nasi Lemak, then Indonesia has it too. However, Indonesian Nasi Lemak is less famous than Rendang. Besides, in my country, Nasi Lemak isn't considered a heavy meal, but rather a breakfast dish.
And here's the appetizer: some fried snacks—Bala-bala, risol, chicken satay, and beef satay. Yummy! We made a joke about this Bala-bala—namely, Bala-bala upgrade, simply because these snacks are easily found at hawker stalls in Indonesia. You can get six packs of Bala-bala for RM1.
And then our big menu arrived. Wow! We had beef, chicken, shrimp, green beans, biryani rice—I'm not sure though, then eggplant.
Then we immersed ourselves in pleasant conversation before Roelandp and Arcange delivered closing remarks. It was a sad realization that tomorrow there would be no more hive fest. Sigh!
Hasta La Vista...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
