Hello HiveFest Buddies...
I never thought that sightseeing would be part of the Hive Fest agenda. I thought it would just be a conference day and networking. But, it turned out to be part of it. It's so much fun to go to a place with new and exciting people, isn't it?
The destination for this trip was Batu Caves. I'd actually been there before, but I didn't make it to the rainbow stairs because I was too afraid of the wild monkeys. So when Batu Caves was announced as a destination, I felt it was a no-brainer and I would still participate.
It’s only about 1-2 km, which we could manage. Then, we found the easiest and quickest route, which made it even easier to get to the meeting point. The meeting point was near Hotel Journal, about 1.4 km from our hotel. So, we had to walk for about 20 minutes, and we ended up arriving first. The great thing about this Hive Fest was its punctuality. If they say we'll leave at 9, then that's what's going to happen; you'll be left behind. I guess I need to be more disciplined with time, and it turns out it makes me happy too.
So, here we go... since we still had half an hour to go, we waited at a cafe, but I ordered peach tea. I wanted to have coffee later, when we arrived at Batu Chaves and experience the coffee there. While waiting, we found other hivers and had a light chat. Shortly after, we set off for Batu Chaves. It was about a 20-minute journey.
Batu Chaves wasn't as crowded as when I first arrived, so it wasn't as dizzying, and I was able to climb the hundreds of steps—albeit breathlessly. considered this another leg day. My legs were strong, but my breath wasn't, hahaha…
After exploring the cave area, we did a light culinary tour. We went to an Indian restaurant because I was dying to try Masala tea. Besides coffee, I love exploring Masala tea. When traveling to Indian communities in Indonesia, Masala Tea is always what I look for, so here I am with my Masala Tea. My bad, I forgot the name of the restaurant.
After that,
, and I tried another Indian dish at Banana Leaf Brickfields. I wanted to eat nasi briyani, but it seemed like I couldn't eat a large meal, so I ordered nasi lemak. So here's my nasi lemak.
Our trip didn't end there; we explored the city by train. Our destination this time was a museum. I've been there before, and I didn't really want to go, but I didn't know what else to do, so I went along. Besides, the last time I was there, I didn't go in to look around because it was closed. Now, with Jessica as our tour guide, we explored the museum. We only had to pay about 5 RM to get there because we were foreigners.
After the State Museum, we parted ways because there was going to be a Beer Saturday, and I felt like I needed some sleep before actually going to the Beer party.
Hasta La Vista...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
