Creativity, good health and personal improvement is part of the thing everyone is longing for, just an hour scroll on Facebook or any web2 social media you will understand that everyone are really interested in self improvement.
Learning new skills is one of the best way to achieve self improvement and I have chosen manicure and pedicure as a new skill I will love to learn this 2026.
This two in one skill is more than just beauty or hygiene it helps to improve my abilities as an entrepreneur and also help me connect with people, make new friends.
Few days before the end of 2025 I visited a beauty salon and I saw over ten people sitting and waiting to get their legs and hands done, while having conversations with the women one of them mentioned how she has begged her sister to get to learning pedicure and manicure, that there is lots of benefits from learning this skill, immediately I started considering it as a new skill I will love to learn in the new year.
When I got home I made up my mind that I will go for it because I love learning new things especially now that life is becoming more challenging to deal with.
My schedule
I have to do some readjustment to achieve this goal, already I have gotten a physical beauty shop where I can learn this skill, there are many online beauty classes but I prefer a physical class, this will help me do some practice of what am learning and get physical corrections from my teacher.
Tuesdays and Fridays are for this new skill I want to learn, and I will be spending four hours each day for this new skill.
My new beauty teacher said it's going to take me three months to learn this new skill if am smart enough but if am not that smart it's going to take me six months 😔, I think am smart but can't say till I start my new skill learning.
Impressive this skill won't phase out in a short time because it's health related and everyone loves being clean and healthy, so am not going to regret the time I spent learning this new skill.
Aside building a team, and assisting the community to achieve good health, I will also make good money from my new skill, people pay huge amount of money to get their pedicure and manicure done, so learning this new skill will also help my financial growth later in the year when am done learning.
Another interesting thing about this new skill is that I don't need a lot to start my own beauty shop, I just need to understand the skill and be creative then I will start making money.
Next week will be my first week in learning this new skill, I will update you friends as I thrive in my journey of new skill learning.
