I never thought in a million years that I would actually be writing a @marketFriday by #dswigle post about a Gone Bonkers shop. But the want for a little bucket took me to this discount shop at the local shopping centre.
I was on a quest, so little time before my guests arrived to drink coffee and eat cake admiring the garden full of flowers from the deck.
In I quickly walked passing the sign on the counter:
....and down the aisle with my goggling eyes busily eying of wide of variety to products proudly sitting not the shelves. It was quite the entertaining explore sending out lots of tempting suggestions to a shopper like me. My mind was in overdrive, if only the other customers could hear my chatter as I checked out the stock.
Pausing at the sight of the signs hanging down in a row, one could hang at my front door and look at home ......but only for a second before I scrapped the idea deciding I must go.
And came face to face with a family of well dressed skulls in roses and top hats intensely looking at me as they sat next to the pretty fairies all in white.
Without warning the fairy magic was lost as I faced a number of different brightly coloured micro cleaning clothes assaulting my senses. They were hanging most neatly. And while I find this kind of cloth a handy asset for the cleaning cupboard I moved on........
........ to gaze at 'Lavender Spray' thinking how pure the oil would be and at the same time blown away at the immense variety in this well stocked in this Gone Bonkers shop.
I didn't know Himalayan Salt Lamps were sold here? I have one and noticed that even though in this discount variety shop the price is the same as the spiritual stores where they are also sold.
As I reached the end of an aisle hopping to find a stack of buckets in what seemed the cleaning section I instead found the flowers, artificial I know but nonetheless less bright gorgeous bunches of daisies, roses and azaleas. #Alwaysaflower girl is always tempted, where would they go I wondered? At the entry outside? On the deck outside? Maybe not, but how pretty in this shop.
And as I passed the beautiful white heart sitting on its own on the shelf trying to ignore my mind telling me that it may be perfect as a background in the corner with the dark leaves ..........
......... I saw this bigger sun shape and knew that this was better and more than right in the garden with all the leaves. Maybe I could buy them both. But, I had to go so another day to buy before someone else jumped in first. The price tag was clearly seen, nice and cheap, so tempting for proud garden lovers.
The time was ticking by and I had to get home for my guests, where is that elusive bucket I must buy so I can fill the bird bath? And as I thought it my eyes fell on the pile of buckets sitting ever so quietly. At last......
At the checkout the lovely owner always so bright and chatty was delighted that I had spent time looking and taking photos. She loved the idea that her shop was a #marketFriday for me that day.
I'll be back for another gander and would love to buy the sun shape for my garden I said. You have an amazing shop. Her smile was broad and her eyes beamed.
Cheers and thank you for joining me at Gone Bonkers for my #marketFriday fun. This #silverblogger will be back!
Although not real the little possie of roses but sweet and cute catching my eye. Flowers are flowers no matter what, sending beams of love and light to whoever pauses to see. In my mind I visualised a bride all in white holding this pretty bunch.
