A hug to all the amazing participants of #BOM, this week I have had time to read some entries and I like to see how people are distracted and have fun writing in the #Silverbloggers community; every week the theme amuses us a lot and there is no time for boredom here. Whoever thinks that being retired is synonymous with sitting at home, watching TV and taking care of the grandchildren, is wrong. I like the age I have, every year I lived I wear it with pride and now is that there is Carolina (@SilverCandy) for a while.
Before I go any further I would like to invite my 40-something friends to join the fun and participate in it Blog-of-the-month-new-theme, I know this week is geared for those of us who have been here a while, but stay tuned because new topics are coming that are sure to inspire you and delight you with your thoughts and keyboard.
Every time I see the main image of the #Silverbloggers blog I stop for a few seconds and sometimes even minutes to feast my eyes for a while. Those who know me a little know my taste and passion for art, in all its dimensions. To me this image transmits peace, calm, silence, relaxation, life. That's how it has been since the first day I connected with the silverbloggers family.
I remember when I first saw the idea from our friend @Lizelle,The Mother of Silver Bloggers , who was telling us how the idea was born and how much she liked the idea of a community for adult people, retired, who wanted to continue experiencing new things, meet people, learn more about the crypto world and more.
I loved the idea and immediately supported it. Lizelle and I shared many topics in different communities; I will never forget her recipes, wow, I love them all, especially the color she adds to her images. Now we were going to be able to share all those tastes and more from a single community.
I liked the idea of a special house for us, where we could talk about what we do now, where we travel to, what we like to eat or cook, what we have learned and what project we are working on each day, how our health is going and also talk about what we feel deep in our hearts. Here was a door to express ourselves and understand each other and that idea definitely fascinated me.

That's how I feel, proud and happy, I feel at home, with friends who share my likes, my desires and even my sadness. Why am I a Silver Bloggers? because there is no better place to be and find all the comforts that I like and desire. Here I write freely, sincerely, openly, I share my intimacies and I know that everyone understands me because we share the age and characteristics of a retired person.
Being an older person (47) does not close doors, on the contrary, you will be able to enjoy new adventures and experiences. When we retire or retire from our jobs where we dedicated our youthful years it is not all over, but rather new opportunities open up to spend our best free years, doing what we want, enjoying family, traveling, eating what we like, taking care of ourselves and loving life as it should be, "unhurried".

I'd like to take a minute out of this post to explain a little bit about why I chose the name Silver Candy for the community. And the Way to get It...
Sweet has a lot to do with my personality, I identify with tenderness, affection, kindness and I am very sensitive in many ways. But don't think that people who transmit sweetness are calm. Nooo! On the contrary, I am an energetic, active person, I like to smile and be cheerful.
Imagine for a moment the candy that you like the most, it can be those that have the little paper that makes noise, that has a lot of color and when you uncover it you get a flavor that bursts in your mouth and makes you happy at the moment. Can you imagine a boring candy? there isn't, is there?
Candies are used in children's parties, in cotillions, they are used to decorate cakes and bring smiles. The person who eats a candy tends to be activated quickly, it seems that sugar works magic. Who doesn't get a sweet treat when going everywhere, whether on the subway or on the bus.
When I was a child I used to watch an animated series called Candy Candy, maybe many of us here watched it and we had fun and cried with her, the naughty little girl Candy with beautiful golden laughter, the one who helped and was everyone's friend. The one who had the most joyful laugh and gave herself with passion to what she did. Maybe I have a lot of Candy inside me, I grew up with that series and although many have wanted to distort her story because "I don't care" I do believe in the purity and innocence of children. I also remember my brothers calling me "freckled tarzan" because I had many freckles on my face, like Candy.

And many will say, how corny, because I am corny, I still believe in love, affection, peace, the beautiful things that life offers us and I am 100% positive. I always like to see the good side of things. I am convinced that those of us who are on this beautiful side, there are more of us; so I will never get tired or bored of loving, laughing, singing, because life is beautiful and if God gave us the opportunity to be here, then make the most of it.
I say goodbye, God bless you and remember "put a smile to LIFE".
