If you have been reading any of my blogs, then you know I am a military veteran and have some struggles. It’s okay, I am working on them. I have a loving and supportive wife and kids. I see a VA counselor regularly, do self-therapy, and just started being active in an offline local veteran’s group again. Hell, I even started picking up old hobbies I thought I had long given up, like coin collecting and studying for my amateur radio license.
You may also know, if you paid attention to some of my posts, that blogging here on the blockchain is part of my self-therapy. It has been an amazing journey so far. I have found some great communities.
There is our lovely #SilverBloggers community where I share general life stuff with you all. I thank you so much for being a part of that by the way and being so supportive.
Then there is the Reflections Community that administrates and has allowed me to share my journey and battle out of isolationism.
Another community I frequent is the #Silvergoldstackers where I share my coin collecting and newly found silver bug.
There are others, but those are the main ones I post in and frequent regularly…until just recently!
You see, I found a Veterans Community here on the Hive blockchain. It is a community for Hive veterans from around the world. The cool thing is you can join even if you are not a vet and just want to show your support. You are welcome to join their Discord server as well.
I will be the first to admit, it hasn’t been all that active lately, but have a feeling that is going to probably change as some vets (,
,
to name some) here on Hive are ramping some stuff up to support other veterans. One of things being done is dusting off the CAV token.
As part of this, I am stoked, and hope to get your support by:
Letting any veterans and those who support vets know that there is a community for them here on Hive and subscribing to it Hive Veterans Community Worldwide
Following
and maybe even investing in the token to support the cause.
That’s it!
I plan to put together a series of posts here in the coming days and weeks for supporters with tips on how you can support and help veterans offline in your local areas and online here on Hive. So, stay tuned here in the future.
Thanks,
Joe
P.S. All Rewards for this post go the the account. All proceeds goes to support Veterans here on Hive.
