Finally made it to Fort Knox today. Got the administrative crap handled for my youngest son. One of those festering tasks on the to-do list that's been sitting there way too long. Done now. Moving on.
The picture is about as close as I thought we'd get to the Gold Depository. Turns out we could have gotten much closer. By the time I realized that, we were already going through the front gate of the Fort. Wasn't about to start taking pictures at that point. Last thing I wanted was to be answering those types of questions. You know the ones.
Not much else to really chat about. Weather is finally decent here. Which means I need to get my fat ass out for some walking. No more excuses. Not even this shit ton of reading and writing for class.
That's why I haven't posted in a few days. Been head down in the books and articles. School stuff doesn't read itself. Been trying to keep up with posts here and there but haven't been doing very good at that either.
Guess that's the way life is though. I'll be the first to tell someone that offline life is more important to deal with. School. Family. Health. The stuff that actually matters when you close the laptop.
Well, that's about it for me. It's around 1230 in the morning here. Should be in bed.
But here I am. Posting anyway.
