We have it so good. We enjoy it so much. We express it so little. It can make your heart shine like the stars in the universe. The most beautiful feeling in the world.
The pleasure of florals is deep-seated with me. I cannot understand my love affair with them, but, I insist they dress in words from the heart.
The drifting of my thoughts, begin and end with you
It was that inviting taste of words on your lips
A tender kiss, I don't have the strength to resist
I close my eyes to the day, but, lay very much awake
Feeling the sensation of you, watching me
Strangely neither minding
The intrusion of space
Tonight
Draw me close to you
Whispered silence on my lips
The hint of your voice in my ear
Ignites love's appetite
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.
