Feliz y bendecido día amigos de Silver Bloggers, hoy una vez más tengo el placer de participar en una increíble iniciativa de esta maravillosa Comunidad, "Las crónicas de Silverbloggers - Pregunta n.° 46 ¿Tuviste una mascota cuando eras niño?", donde daremos respuesta a esta interrogante, ¿Cuál fue tu primera mascota o tu mascota favorita? Cuéntanos su nombre, su raza o tipo, y cómo llegó a formar parte de tu familia. Si no tuviste uno de niño, ¿tuviste uno de adulto?.

Sí por supuesto a lo largo de mi vida he tenido muchas mascotas, una vez tuve un par de loros, conejos, tortugas, gatos, y la última que me llevo mi papá cuando tenía 6 años fue un perrito pequeño que llamamos Canelo por su pelaje color marrón, era muy cariñoso y juguetón, mi papá nos decía que los niños siempre deben tener una mascota en casa, es una manera de enseñarles amory responsabilidad, para mí las mascotas son más que un animal, forman parte de nuestra familia, nos enseñan sin palabras ni lecciones tantas cosas, nos transmiten lealtad, amor incondicional, alegría en lo cotidiano, valor en cuidar uno al otro, son unos seres maravillosos que nos vienen a llenar de paz y armonía a nuestro hogar.

Los animales siempre han sido una constante en mi vida, como ya les dije he tenido muchas mascotas a lo largo de mi vida, y ahora siendo una adulta mayor esa esa pasión y amor por las mascotas no ha disminuido, al contrario, sigo conservando esa necesidad de verme rodeado de estos pequeños animalitos que nos llenan de inmenso amor, paz y tranquilidad, hoy veo esta enorme satisfacción en mis nietas que también tienen sus mascotas y crecen rodeados de estos animalitos tan maravillosos, repitiendo el mismo ciclo hermoso que yo viví con mis padres.
Para mí tener una mascota es mucho más que tener un animal, es una herramienta poderosa por medio de las cuales le vamos inculcando valores fundamentales a nuestros hijos, nietos, etc, dentro de estos valores está la responsabilidad, ya que deben alimentarla, bañarla, atenderla, esto enseña al niño que otro ser depende de ellos, también los enseña a tener empata, sensibilidad hacia los demás, amor a la naturaleza, aprenden a respetar y a valorar el mundo que los rodea, también le brindan bienestar emocional, ya que las mascotas ofrecen ese vínculo afectivo único, especialmente en momentos difíciles, a mi como abuela me llena mucho el corazón ♥️ al ver que ese amor por los animales que yo heredé también se los he podido inculcar a mis hijos y hoy en día a mis nietas.
Hoy en día les quiero presentar a mi mascota Kira, que es la mascota también de mis nietas, es una mascota que mi hijo trajo a la casa desde que tenía tres meses de edad, la misma edad que tenía mi nieta Emily, es una hermosa perrita de raza "Alaska Malamute", del grupo de perros de trineos, dentro de sus características está que son perros muy cariñosos, amorosos, amigables, son de gran tamaño, robustos, de gran pelaje, sus ojos son muy claros, almendrados, y tiene una cola curva.
A pesar de su aspecto de lobo, los Alaska malamutes, son conocidos por ser extremadamente afectuosos, son leales con la familia, muy sociales, juguetones, y muy apegadas a las personas, especialmente a los niños, por aquí por mi casa Kira es muy querida, sobre todo por los niños, precisamente por lo amable y cariñosa que ella es, por eso me gusta que sea la mascota de mis nietas.
Para mi las mascotas no son sólo animales que viven con nosotros, son esos maestros silenciosos que nos enseñan a amar sin condición, a ser pacientes, a reír en lo simple, a valorar cada momento, nuestras mascotas forman parte de nuestra familia, son sin duda alguna uno de los regalos más hermosos que nos pueden dar.

Today, I once again have the pleasure of participating in an incredible initiative from this wonderful community, "Silver Bloggers Chronicles - Question #46: Did you have a pet when you were a child?" We'll answer this question: What was your first pet or your favorite pet? Tell us its name, breed or type, and how it became part of your family. If you didn't have one as a child, did you have one as an adult?

Yes, of course, throughout my life I've had many pets. I once had a couple of parrots, rabbits, turtles, cats, and the last one my dad brought me when I was 6 years old was a small dog we called Canelo because of his brown fur. He was very affectionate and playful. My dad told us that children should always have a pet at home; it's a way to teach them love and responsibility. For me, pets are more than just animals; they are part of our family. They teach us so many things without words or lessons. They transmit loyalty, unconditional love, joy in everyday life, and the value of caring for one another. They are wonderful beings that come to fill our homes with peace and harmony.

Animals have always been a constant in my life. As I've mentioned before, I've had many pets throughout my life, and now, as a senior citizen, that passion and love for pets hasn't diminished. On the contrary, I still have that need to be surrounded by these little animals that fill us with immense love, peace, and tranquility. Today, I see this enormous satisfaction in my granddaughters, who also have their own pets and are growing up surrounded by these wonderful animals, repeating the same beautiful cycle that I experienced with my parents.
For me, having a pet is much more than just having an animal; it's a powerful tool through which we instill fundamental values in our children, grandchildren, etc. Among these values is responsibility, since they must feed, bathe, and care for the animal. This teaches children that another being depends on them. It also teaches them empathy, sensitivity towards others, and love for nature. They learn to respect and value the world around them. Pets also provide emotional well-being, as they offer that unique emotional bond, especially in difficult times. As a grandmother, it fills my heart with joy ♥️ to see that the love for animals that I inherited has also been passed on to my children and now to my granddaughters.
Today I want to introduce you to my pet Kira, who is also my granddaughters' pet. My son brought her home when she was three months old, the same age as my granddaughter Emily. She's a beautiful Alaskan Malamute, a sled dog. Among their characteristics are that they are very affectionate, loving, and friendly dogs. They are large, robust, have thick fur, very light, almond-shaped eyes, and a curled tail.
Despite their wolf-like appearance, Alaskan Malamutes are known for being extremely affectionate, loyal to their families, very social, playful, and very attached to people, especially children. Here at home, Kira is very loved, especially by the children, precisely because of how kind and affectionate she is. That's why I love that she's my granddaughters' pet.
For me, pets aren't just animals that live with us; they are silent teachers who show us unconditional love, patience, the joy of simple things, and the value of every moment. Our pets are part of our family; they are undoubtedly one of the most beautiful gifts we can receive.
