It's been a while since I did one of these posts. Yesterday was a strange day and felt morenlike Friday than a Thursday.
Rambo's new daytime spot in cooler weather. On the back of the sofa. Sensible. He gets to see who goes past and insists on a tickle. And he's close by (very) if #justincase one of us opens the food cupboard!
I finalised my kitchen day agenda (which also features in my #HivePUD post prepared amd scheduled yesterday), checked one item off the list (koeksisters and before supper, started the rolls which ferment over night.
Last night's, smiley, mushroom-filled omelette with the last of the carrot and plum salad. The Husband declared the entire meal "lovely" and the salad especially good. It's going to be added to the repertoire. I look forward to doing it with whole baby carrots from the garden...
Oh, and, this was also an experiment in working out the shelf life of the jar salad. Especially the leaves. I picked the rocket the day I made the salad. The leaves were still crisp and fresh seven days later.
I know it's a fourth photo, but it's salad evidence.
Until next time, be well

- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
