This week's plant-based jar for the market is a mild red bean chilli. Because, well, the weather man says it's going to be chilli. Make a meal with the homemade cottage cheese and sourdough rolls.
Still, after cooking and having garden loot and potting preserves, forever, I get a kick out of using what I have potted, colorful peppers and our gardenloot.
The herbs have, in the last week or so, just burst into life.
As has the rest of the garden.
Real winter rain, sun and borhole blessings and nearly two years later, the garden is beginning to really recover.
It's amazing the difference that a higher water table makes. This year, too, we have made a point of planting on a waxing moon.
I am having to curb my impatience...
Until next time, be well
