It's been a while since we braaied. The weather was miserable, and because of Saturday rugby, the usual braai didn't happen. Last night The Husband braaied. Even though it was cold.
It's the season when salads are difficult and cold food doesn't always appeal.
So, in addition to sweet potato wedges, I fiddled with flavours: cucumber, beetroot with a sprinkling of cumin and tzatziki. That was rounded off with a drizzle of olive oil.
I kept everything separate and added the tzatziki just before serving because I don't like how beetroot contaminates everything.
Next time, I might add a sprinkling of dill or parsley. Either way, I shall do this again.
Now, I am hoping for a week that is calm, quiet and relatively normal.
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
