After last Saturday's galeforce wind, a calm, almost clear and relatively warm morning was a welcome change.
At 9.30am, the shadows are still long, and made a great photo with the amazing winter sky over Saturday's morning market in McGregor. Every Saturday between 9 (please, not before, so that stall holders can set up for you 🙂) and 11.
A million grey dove feathers that were Gandalf's gift when we got back from the market. Liberally scattered all over the landing at the to of the stairs. And the bedroom.
Pot pie and salad after watching the rugby. Flaky, flaky pastry not, I admit, homemade. I confess that the work involved just makes store bought that much more, ahem, efficient.
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.

- lastly, graphics are created using partly my own photographs, images available freely available on
and Canva.
