Little did I know, when I took this photo of Saturday's pretty sunrise, what promise it held. At that point, Saturday promised to be a bit of a challenge. The Husband is not well ahead of surgery and a few other issues which means reorganising some things.
That said, we headed down to the market as usual and then he headed home.
I was minding my own business my stall and nattering with mates and suddenly, saw two people bearing down on me with huge, happy smiles on their faces.
It took me not long to realise that it was a dear friend and his wife: visiting from London and who had decided to stop in at McGregor on their way to Cape Town. Neither The Baron von K, nor my market pals had ever seen me at a loss for words. I was. That, and it literally took my breath away.
It was wonderful. After the market we came home caught up with The Baron and Baroness's news and they ours. We've not seen each other for about ten years. It was WONDERFUL.
So wonderful, they ran late and we forgot about photos...
So what happened to HiveBloPoMo?
Well, you may ask. After the Von Ks left, I had a meeting - remember the hamster wheel? And that not-quite-announcement? The rest of Saturday and most of Sunday, I spent on that, and cobbling together a basic website. So that we can deal with some village politics and announce it.
Am I going to resume daily posts?
Honestly, the answer to that question is that I don't know. I'd like to, but if life continues derailing those plans, I have to prioritise RL - and The Husband.
Post script: I am trying to participate in 's April #HiveBloPoMo. I emphasise trying because RL - and my day job - have been so busy over the last while that I've not known which way to turn. That shouldn't stop you - or anyone. Read about how to participate here.
This is Day 17 less 2
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
