It's not blurred. It's a still fluffy martin fledgling puffed up against the summer morning chill who helped me start my day.
It was a long one that began in the kitchen with koeksisters and moved into the office and ended with starting the buns for Saturday's market.
Oh and, happily, I had a long conversation with my son from another mother in Thailand. On his birthday.
We are still very much in salad mode. Salad supper of egg petals with basil mayo. Just what the doctor ordered.
Our lettuce took a pasting in last week's heat and is beginning to bitter and bolt. P's partner has recovered and she escaped the C, but the heat had the chooks and ducks stop laying - it was too much for them, and a couple of oldies fell over. Forever. So it was back to commercial eggs until next week. We hope.
Finally -
Impatience personified.
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
