I spent yesterday mostly in the kitchen. Koeksisters were first up and they take most of the day.
Then it was cauliflower and leek soup which canned in jars for Saturday's market and June 18th.
Sunday's pickles now labeled to be safely stashed until 17 June when they will be picked and ready for the 18th.
Lunch on a miserable day: leftover bean chilli and sourdough rolls. Out of Paul de Jongh's lovely bowls.
Then mushroom omelette supper on Trish's pretty plates and the salad out of more of Paul's bowls.
I love using them all. All the time.
Of course, it's Friday and another day in the kitchen. A new marmalade is on the agenda. Check tomorrow's Fiday Files to find out more.
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
