I have been the subject of the husband's bantering which started yesterday morning after he caught me talking in my sleep on Sunday night which often happens anyway. There were a few times where I woke up to some words at the tip of my tongue and it did make me wonder why I seem to be having conversations with myself or with others while I'm not physically conscious (unaware).
Do you perhaps sleep talk too?
It usually occurs to me when I'm tired so this recent one may have been due to my sleeping patterns being disrupted this month, more so in the previous nights when the Weekend Battle on LeoThreads started. I was dead tired when I went to bed during the wee hours of Sunday after trying my best to catch up with things missed when we were out and offline during the daytime. On other times, I would just let go and enjoy my sleep but the weekend got me pumped up.
Anyway, the husband said he was about to turn to the other side of the bed when he saw me lift my head, open my eye then suddenly talked saying, "Oh what a life!" and immediately returned to sleep, lol! He was to burst into laughter but apparently, he noticed I was off to dreamland really quickly so he kept the amusement to himself then teased me really good the moment I woke up. And he keeps reminding me about it every time he gets the chance acting like the cat on the above photo. And since I don't remember doing what he says, I banter back saying he just made it up.
We both just laugh, it's mostly how we share fun. And just like yesterday, that sleep talk is giving us more laughter today and perhaps in the next few days. Funny how little things as such would make up our day. It's fun, adds more to life's simple pleasures and memories too.
Meanwhile, it's Tuesday here and thankfully, the skies are clearing. It was gloomy yesterday and the rain came rather early staying through the evening. I'm hoping we will have a few dry days from today though.
Happy new day everyone!
