Today I turn 24 years old. 🎉
No big parties, no wild plans — just me, at home, probably eating something nice 🍲, reflecting, and choosing to be thankful. Honestly, going out to celebrate is for the rich. And while I might not be rolling in money, I’m rich in growth, in lessons, and in vision 🌱.
It's funny how my laptop battery decided to spoil yesterday 💻🔋. The timing? 😭. Normally, I’d be really upset — thinking about how I don’t have the funds to replace it 💔. But this time, I’m handling it differently.
I’ve decided to start being more grateful for what I do have while I hope and work for better things to come ✨. I’m getting older, and becoming a man means I have to complain less and think more. Solutions over self-pity. Growth over grumbling 💪.
From being a Civil Engineering student 🏗️ to building web apps 🧑💻, video editing 🎬, 2D animation creation ✏️, and dreaming bigger with every year,it hasn’t been easy, but it’s been real. I’ve learned, failed, bounced back, and I’m still standing. More focused than ever 🎯.
I’m staying grounded this year. Learning, building, sharpening my skills, and walking my journey with a quiet confidence. Of course, I’ll still enjoy the little things — maybe an anime rewatch 📺 and playing Chess ♟️. I wish would bring S21 of the hive chess competition soon 😢, I'm getting bored already.
So, I'm someone that's keen on passing knowledge and I hope this helps someone trying to navigate adulthood and even under 18 year olds.
Here are 24 things I have learnt in the last 24 years of my life:
Brilliance(1) X Bad character(0) = 0.
In summary, be polite and build a good character. 🧠✨Always be open to learning 📘
