The years simply seem to melt away!
I joined this blockchain exactly seven years ago, and what a ride it's been!
As all my friends know, I wear my heart on my sleeve, and this space has been my go-to place when I've needed an escape, or felt the need to offload much of what weighs me down.
As with Bull and Bear markets, we've all, at times, travelled through deep dark valleys, climbed some steep hills, and at other times tHrIVEd on open roads with sunny skies above.
We've certainly seen how time and tide affect this world.
I started my blogging journey, all starry-eyed, and have been writing on many topics. Food blogging became my favoured genre for a long while. I love cooking, baking, and eating the spoils, as did hubby!
My darling Arthur was always super supportive, and often helped by taking photos while I was doing the food preparation.
Nowadays, my poor cellphone gets abused by a dusting of flour and other food ingredients, but it is very robust and forgiving!
I went down the coast this past week to our favourite resort, with my older brother and our special friends, and we quietly celebrated Arthur's birthday just two days ago.
July used to be a month of celebrations, but besides my Hiversary, now feels like a very cold month. In just four days from now, it will be a year since my man left this world to move on to his 'forever' home.
Back to where I began!
The first image of an ox wagon was taken in 1932 at the South Coast resort of Munster, just next door to where we were staying,
The second image is of a 1950-era Vauxhall, which must have been a real grand dame back then, but how cumbersome, and hardly any boot (trunk) space!
Nowadays we travel in comfort with all the latest electronics onboard and loads of space for our luggage, which seems to have gotten bigger as well!
As the tides of the ocean keep on changing, we in turn need to adapt to tHrIVE!
