It is very common that as adults we forget or ignore our inner children, with today's pace of life, with so many things to do there is not much time for enjoyment, at least that happened to me sometimes, days with a lot of work stress, many things to do, with not enough time to do everything I wanted, my inner child hid deeply waiting for the moment to come out.

But now that I take care of my children at home, my inner child comes out all the time, to play, to sing, to dance with my little ones.
My prince, who is already 4 years old, enjoys our dances a lot. There is a song in particular, Kisses in War (Besos en Guerra), by the Colombian group Morat that we dance to almost doing a choreography, and when he hears it he runs towards me so that we can dance. He is very charming.
Now I can say that I maintain a direct connection with my little me, and although I let her out every day, it is rarely documented in photos or videos, because I usually do not have pretty faces, and who wants to post a photo on a social network with hair disheveled and worn clothes? Well I don't.
But a few months ago we took my mom to a doctor's appointment, and while we were waiting for her, my husband and I went to a small nearby park so that my prince could distract himself for a while.
Upon arrival, we realized that it was just us, and my little me saw the opportunity to enjoy a slide.
Oh, how happy I felt! I don't even know how old I was without sliding down a slide, my little me laughed fully, it was so rewarding, I slid two or three times, but it was enough for my little me to feel very happy, and I still smile today when I see the photos.
When I came across these photos today, I knew this was the story I had to tell at this month's Silver Prompt.
And my prince also had a great time, it was the first time he slid down a slide, and although he did it timidly at first, later there was no stopping him. He even felt a little upset when my mom called us to let us know that she had already left her doctor's office and that she was waiting for us.
