About Three Years Of Silvery Bliss

Three years already?! Wow, that was quick... And to Lizzies Question on how did i hear about the SilverBloggers and why the heaven do i come back here all the time?!

Easy answer: I blame Hive account@lizelle. 😁 😎 Happy HiveIversary BTW

Why blame? Hehe, because the "mad" scottish brother SuperEd, aka Hive account@tengolotodo blames Eli on his journey to become a SilverBlogger, while SuperEli, aka Hive account@coquicoin, had some recommendation over at readCash to check out our silvery bunch.

Myself: i met Lizzie a few sandwiches before... on the Steemit Sandwich Contest. That was a fun time, making lots of awesome "handheld" delights where we met a whole lot of foodies around the world. Still kinda miss that crazy bunch.

At the time we called us "Sandwiteers" and after "winning" the contest many times with her mouth watering presentations of bread and something on it, she became the Sandwich Queen, to me at least.

Personally we became kind of family-from-far-away and one day she asked me, if i would be interested to give her a helping hand by becoming a moderator in her new community. Not even really knowing what it was all about, i already said "YES my Queen"... (okee okee okee, gonna mellow down on the queeny stuff now, hehehe)

Then i saw that Hive account@fionasfavourites was part of the team. Also an awesome cook and "foodie" with her recipes and menus that make me hungry, even after i just had lunch. So i was sure to be at the right place. Taking a few kilos more, because of what all the delights i might see gonna do to me, didn't change my decision. Who cares about some kilos... 😏

That was the how, now the why i'm coming back all the time.

This has to do with my decision to learn to write. And even more, my need of giving a helping hand to one and all. In 2018 when my journey started, i found the terminal... joined their discord server where i met humans like the MasterLurker and KittyPedia. I was asking, and later also answering, lots and lots of questions about blockchains and the how's and why's. So much that one day they gave me some kind of a guru role... ha, they might tried to shut me up. 😬
(actually i'm still not sure i like that guru thingy...)      😎 😁

All this back and forth between steemit/hive and discord made me kinda feel good. I even started my own communities just to know how all that works, to may give a helping hand to others on what i discovered. Back office is my thing... to make stuff happen, as simple and fast as possible.

Finding solutions for "problems" and then go and bring the folks together to realize them. Building bridges, like my brother Hive account@wesphilbin would say. One reason i love him so much, since he showed me the way to do that here.

Or go and research all over any places, to find answers for open question that may help someone to elevate their own awesome. A bit in the way what Hive account@thekittygirl does. Thank you two for all you do for us all on the blockchain. You are a big part of why i'm still here. (yeah, shit happens...)

All this to say: i come back to the SilverBloggers because here i met the wise "old" souls. The one's not really in it for the money, but the feeling for sane exchange.

and this community is proof of that fact. You all make me feel welcomed, accepted. That makes me happy and gives me even more "power", to share the best i can give, to all of us.
