I do not think finding ones life purpose is easy. I think it becomes a little more clearer then you get older. When I was young it was more a case of doing the best I could with what skills and talents I was born with. In my case that was not many or much to work with! I used to think that every body was better than me at everything. But slowly my life seemed to fall into place and skills and talents I did not think I had seem to manifest.
With all that said I think my life purpose in one sentence is to "Help others, the closest to me that want help"
Before I could help any others. I had to learn to help myself.
Learning and adapting to an every changing world is not easy but nowadays is almost essential. I think the buzz work now for it is to be able to pivot.
I remember when I was helping my Dad build a pergola at our house a long time ago and I brought along a battery drill to use on the roofing screws. He just laughed and started doing them by hand the way he always had. 15 or 20 minutes later I had done 10x more than him and he wanted a go. From memory it was a 9.6v Makita battery drill was the first I ever owned.
From then on it was like the young apprentice son teaching the master. To their credit my parents were willing to learn, mostly, and were encouraging with all sorts of different projects we had a crack at.
Even if it meant digging up their back yard.
I have taught many apprentices over the years too. One of them even ended up in the office as one of my bosses. Even my son listens too me, though there was a while when I was not so sure if he was.
