Not the normal ocean sunsets, or mountain sunsets that I post from time to time, but two nights right here at our home.
On the first night, the sunset clouds were pushing in slowly from the south side.
The thing that I like about the clouds at sunset is that they can continually change their shapes and colors. Depending on the speed of the winds of course. We had a strong wind on the first night and it chased the clouds along fairly fast. It feels very much like a movie in full color and a pity that the big birds do not fly around at this hour, as they would add much character to the photos. So, the palm tree will have to do.
Come and watch the movie with me.
Yep, there was a big column of cloud on its way.
But the wind tipped the leading part of the column down.
This was the body of the cloud column.
And finally a dove came flying over.
And here is the second night
A slow, mild and cool wind was blowing from the ocean side.
All kinds of forms and the sun lit up the pale side above the tree line.
Ever so slowly that bottom part of the clouds was starting to change.
Until it leaned over more towards the left hand side.
This was the end result and it was mindblowing to watch it.
I have to admit that I liked the second night more, but the palm tree on the first night tried its best to impress me. It felt like I was standing on the shore of a tropical island. The colors on the first night were also beautiful, but still I liked the second night more. Maybe it was the slow cool wind that impressed me after a hot day. It is so relaxing to watch the clouds unfold in the skies and I let my mind drift along on the clouds. It makes me to feel a part of another world, a great universe that enfolds all the nations on this earth.
A part of the whole, as it were, and we all have only this one life to enjoy. A freedom to fly and then we die.
I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.
And That's All Friends.
