The new heat left the mountains in a haze this early morning, so I waited for Mother nature to bring a bit of color.
You can see how bleak the mountains looked at the bottom of the photo.
I took the title of the post from one of my favorite songs by Procol Harum, as it fitted the photos so well. An ocean breeze and the sun combined to cast a white spell on the horizon.
It was a magical time with the camera and I took a lot of photos, but I cannot do a long post due to the power cuts. We had one cut today from 12-2:30pm and we will have another cut from 8-10:30pm.
When I took the earlier photos they were too white to post, so I waited for a few hours and this below was the result.
This is an isolated mountain towards the left of the mountain range and that knot of cloud next to the palm tree caught my eye.
Here is a closer look at the knot that I am talking about.
Bleak days in the hot sun, but still beautiful.
Been a bit naughty, as I over did the walking part of my recovery a bit yesterday and this morning there were a few extra pains. But I believe in the bite the dog that bit you saying, and as the long walk yesterday bit me, I slowly walked the pain off this morning. No running or jumping around, and just a gentle slow walk. It seemed that the birds liked it, as they accompanied me in song and some even posed for me.
If you don't believe me, have a look at how this one posed for me.
Such is life and I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.
And That's All Friends.
